Gabb, the Utah-based company that offers mobile phones for kids, has introduced Gabb Phone 4, its latest-generation device with more features meant to familiarize young users with modern technology without exposing them to some of the more adult aspects of the internet. NRTC Mobile Solutions supports Gabb through MVNO services.

The new phone continues popular features of past models, including parental approval from a safe app library, Gabb Music with clean streaming tunes and no browser or access to social media. In addition, Gabb Phone 4 includes:

  • Gabb Messenger supports texting and video calls that run communications filters and automatically disconnects calls featuring nudity. It sends alerts to parents of any potentially explicit messages.
  • Realtime GPS tracking allows parents to always know their children’s locations.
  • Gabb Maps gives kids directions to safe locations without interfacing with other mapping platforms.

Gabb launched its phone services in 2018 and NRTC has worked with Gabb over much of the time since. It has developed order fulfillment and other operational systems customed to Gabb’s needs.

“Our partnership with NRTC Mobile Solutions has been one of the leading ways we have been able to grow our business, said Gabb CEO Nate Randle in a video released earlier this year. “No one knows better than us how to help you in partnership with your kids take safe steps with tech. We’ve been able to do all of that because of our partnership with NRTC Mobile Solutions.”
