For nearly a decade, Ted Solomon has been at the forefront of shaping NRTC’s strategic direction and driving corporate development. As Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development, Ted focuses on identifying cutting-edge broadband and smart grid solutions to meet member needs. Whether it’s through internal innovation, strategic partnerships, or acquisitions, Ted plays a pivotal role in evolving NRTC’s solutions portfolio to deliver on the vision of being members’ “most trusted technology partner.”
Ted’s expertise spans strategic planning, financial analysis, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). His collaborative approach ensures alignment across NRTC’s business units, helping identify technologies that empower members and keep them ahead of industry trends. He has also contributed his insights as a member of the FCC’s Technological Advisory Council (TAC) and served as the lead author of several key industry reports, including:
Ted holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota and a BS from Rutgers University. When he’s not shaping NRTC’s future, Ted enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He’s a sports enthusiast, fitness fan, chess player, owner of two dogs. Ted also has a talent for, as he puts it, “bad dad jokes.”
