The Pivot Group, LLC this week became part of NRTC. NRTC members building broadband businesses using NRTC’s many services, will now have access to the nearly 20 years of marketing and consulting services that Pivot has provided to rural telecommunications organizations.
“One of NRTC’s strategic goals is to bring more capabilities and experience in-house, so we can better serve our members,” said NRTC CEO Tim Bryan. “Our board and members have told us that marketing support is critical to their success. We’re thrilled to welcome The Pivot Group, and we know our broadband members will greatly benefit from the solutions they offer.”
Members building broadband networks can rely on NRTC for assistance, from start to finish. NRTC’s feasibility studies are well respected in the industry, and NRTC has built a staff that works closely with members to obtain funding through many different federal and state programs. We provide project management during the construction phase and various forms of operational assistance.
“We’ve known and worked with NRTC for a long time. When we realized how much our values align and began thinking about what more we could do together, combining our organizations is too exciting an opportunity to pass up,” said Pivot CEO Dave Nieuwstraten.
Marketing and customer experience (CX) are among the most important elements of a broadband launch. Pivot greatly expands NRTC’s capabilities. It brings years of working experience with rural companies, featuring market research, branding, web development, marketing strategy, creative services/advertising, digital/social, CX consulting, and employee training.
Pivot will continue to serve its existing customers and Pivot will continue to publish its popular online publication, Telecompetitor. At the same time, Pivot’s talented staff and wide range of talents also will provide benefits to the entire NRTC membership, beyond those in the broadband business. Overall, the collaboration will help bring NRTC closer to its members.
